Swedish police say they have shot a masked man who attacked a school in southern Sweden, injuring at least one person.
Students
fled on Thursday morning from the Kronan school in Trollhattan, near
Goteborg, Sweden's second-largest city. The school has 400 students,
ranging from pre-school to high school.
Police in Trollhattan said
the attack took place in the school's cafe area. They had no immediate
report on
the conditions of the attacker or the other injured person.
The
local Goteborg Tidning daily said six people — four students, one adult
and the perpetrator — have been injured in the attack. A live feed on
its web site showed people standing outside a red-brick building with
police cars and ambulances parked outside.
