Tammy Shereese Wright-Conner, 41, from Jacksonville, Florida, has been
charged with murder after the decomposed body of boyfriend, Ronald
Trotter, 48, was found in her porch covered in plastic bags and
surrounded with air freshener. She is believed to have shot Trotter in
May this year, asked a a friend to help her move the body before
proceeding to
seal it into her porch using plastics on the windows and sheets taped to
the walls.
The body which was so decomposed it's gender was not
immediately ascertainable was discovered in the sealed room after about a
week and a half in temperatures of 35C. Air fresheners filled the room
in an attempt to mask the smell when animal control officers discovered
the scene, after they were called in by neighbors who believed there was
a dead animal on the property.
Trotter, who died from a gunshot wound
to the chest, is believed to have gone to Wright-Conner’s house after
having a row with his wife during a family outing on May 25. His wife reported him missing on May 30 and told police that she believed he had gone to his girlfriend’s house.
Police Lt. Steve Gallaher, of the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office, said
that at least one of Wright-Conner’s friends reported that she had asked
for help to move the body.
