Trump fighting fit - doctor

Donald Trump (AP)White House contender Donald Trump released a statement on Monday by his physician who described the Republican frontrunner as being in excellent health, with extraordinary strength and stamina and "no significant medical problems."
In a one-page statement, doctor Harold Bornstein of New York's Lenox Hill Hospital said Trump, 69, has lost almost 7kg over the past year, and that his cardiovascular status is "excellent".
A recent medical examination showed his blood pressure registered at 110/65 and that those and other laboratory results were "astonishingly excellent", according to Bornstein.
Bornstein has been Trump's personal physician since 1980, and his father Jacob Bornstein served in the role in years prior.

"Over the past 39 years, I am pleased to report that Mr Trump has had no significant medical problems," Bornstein wrote.

The billionaire real estate tycoon does not smoke or drink alcohol, has suffered no cancer, and the only surgery he has undergone was an appendectomy at age 10.
"If elected, Mr Trump, I can state unequivocally, will be the healthiest individual ever elected to the presidency," Bornstein wrote.
Trump takes 81mg of aspirin per day as well as a low dose of cholesterol-lowering statin, the statement said.
Trump, who has maintained a busy campaign trail schedule since announcing his candidacy in June, said he was "fortunate to have been blessed with great genes", adding that both his parents lived long and productive lives.
"People have been impressed by my stamina, but to me it has been easy because I am truly doing something that I love," Trump said.
Hillary Clinton, the likely Democratic nominee, released a letter from her personal physician in July which described the 68-year-old as in excellent physical condition and fit to be president.
Clinton fell and suffered a concussion in 2012 which disrupted her schedule for weeks. In 2013 she was determined to be completely free of effects of the concussion.
Republican Jeb Bush, 62, released his doctor's medical statement which declared the former Florida governor was physically and mentally fit.
