A man posted live updates on Facebook from inside the Bataclan music venue as hostages were shot "one by one".
One of the best-known music venues in Paris, the Bataclan was hosting California-based rock-band Eagles of Death Metal. Around
The attackers first targeted cafes outside the venue with machine gun
fire, then went inside and opened fire on the panicked audience, according to the Paris police chief.
"I'm still inside. On the first floor.
Seriously injured!" Mr Cazenoves wrote on Facebook from inside the Bataclan.
"It happened so fast. There are survivors inside. They shot everyone. One by one."
In another post, he wrote: "Alive. Just cuts... Carnage... Dead bodies everywhere."
Hostages were freed after a police raid on the venue, in which three terrorists detonated suicide bomb vests and one other was shot.
Mr Cazenoves posted: "A thought for all the people who didn't have 'my luck' tonight. A big thank you to RAID and the BIS."
(RAID stands for Research, Assistance, Intervention, Defence, a
special operations unit of the French National Police. He also
thanks the Brigade de recherche et d'intervention, elite police special
forces of the French Ministry of the Interior.)
"Finally thank you for all your messages. Sending hugs."
President Hollande has said Isis had committed an "act of war" and insisted France would "triumph over barbarity".
